About
Welcome to Dupont Versailles, a charming eatery nestled in the heart of Paris at 386 Rue de Vaugirard. This delightful cafe offers a vibrant atmosphere complemented by its friendly staff, making it a popular choice among locals and visitors alike.
One of the standout features of Dupont Versailles is undoubtedly its generous portion sizes. As customer Viktorija Vlasenko noted, the dishes are not just satisfying; they're designed for sharing. Whether you're indulging in the hearty lasagna or the delectable pasta, you're equipped to enjoy a meal that truly embodies the spirit of Italian cuisine. The family-friendly environment ensures even the youngest diners can revel in a meal without leaving anything behind.
Another highlight of Dupont Versailles is its variety, as customer Nassos Valakas experienced during brunch. While he found the crepe a bit crusty, he appreciated the extensive menu options at reasonable prices, perfect for a post-expo excursion. This versatility makes it an ideal spot for different meals throughout the day, whether you crave a comforting breakfast or a light lunch.
The Café shines during special events too. Yiting H shared her experience of watching the World Cup semi-final, where she was treated to superb service from the staff, a highlight of her visit. Guests can enjoy not just the sports but also the culinary centerpiece—its unforgettable crème brûlée, praised for its precise texture and perfectly caramelized sugar crust. Yet, a note on the orange juice, described as having a surprisingly bitter taste; it’s a reminder that even the well-loved establishments have room for improvement.
What truly makes Dupont Versailles a gem, however, is the ambiance at all hours. Wowy reflected on a late-night visit, where even with the kitchen closed, the staff graciously served coffee and dessert. The commitment to customer service is exemplified by the kindness of staff member Aram, who brightly showcased a selection of pastries, ensuring that patrons feel welcome and taken care of regardless of the time of day.
In essence, Dupont Versailles is more than just a café; it’s a beloved gathering place infused with the warmth of Parisian hospitality. Its combination of generous portions, friendly service, and a diverse menu makes it an invaluable stop for anyone seeking to experience the culinary delights of Paris. So, whether you’re looking to enjoy a hearty meal, a sweet treat, or simply a cozy spot to unwind, make your way to Dupont Versailles—you won't be disappointed!
“ Big portions and good food. Friendly staff, we liked the place. We wanted to eat and this was first place we found coming from metro. My son couldnt eat all the pasta and we could take one and share it. Portions of lazanja and pasta was really big. ”
“ I had for brunch an omelette and a sweet crepe. Weren't too excited about it. Crepe was too crusty. But it has a variety of options to it at a rather good price. It's also located very clause to Expo des Versailles, rendering a good place to sit and have a meal after a day at a fair. ”
“ Went there to watch the World Cup semi final. The staffs were honestly super nice and I don’t understand why the reviews of the staffs are so bad here. The food was not bad. The highlight of the course was definitely their crème brûlée. The sugar layer was the perfect thickness and the texture of the crème was so perfect. The only thing I would say is that their orange juice is super bitter. ”
“ Lovely cafe, lovely staff and I love that it was open so late. We only had coffee and dessert. They were happy to serve us even though kitchen had closed. The service from Aram was absolutely the best. What a kind gentleman, when we asked what they had for dessert he didn’t just hand over the menu, he brought out all the available pastries on a tray! Man’s a legend. Thank you. ”
